Lost City of Old Goa

Day 01: Arrive Delhi   

Meet & Assist at Airport OR Railway Stn. Check into Hotel. Afternoon visit Old Delhi – Former center of Mughal Power, ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling bazaars Later visit the Jama Masjid, the greatest mosque in India and completed in 1658 by Shah Jahan who also built the Taj Mahal, and the Raj Ghat, the simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing:

After breakfast sightseeing of Delhi drive past Red Fort, Feroz Shah Kotla, ruins of an old fort of the 14th century with the 13 metre high Ashoka Pillar of 3rd BC. New Delhi drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan [The Presidential Palace], India Gate the High Court Building. Visit Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutub Minar, 72 meters high. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 03: Delhi – Agra [215 Kms / 3 Hrs] 

After breakfast drive to Agra. Upon arrival, Check into the hotel. Afternoon visit Agra Fort, famous Taj Mahal & tomb of Itmad-ud-daulah.  Evening Sound & Light Show at Agra Fort. Overnight stay at Hotel.

(Taj Mahal is closed on Friday).

Day 04: Agra – Bharatpur (54 kms. /1 Hrs) 

Morning after breakfast drive to Bharatpur. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri Built during the second half of the 16th century by the Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory) was the capital of the Mughal Empire for 10 years. The complex of monuments and temples, all in a uniform architectural style, includes one of the largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid. Upon arrival check into Hotel. Afternoon visit Keoladeo Ghana National Park, declared as a World Heritage by UNESCO. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary or Ghana Pakshi Vihar is one of the fines bird sanctuaries in the world. There are over 400 species of water birds. Here you will also have opportunity to see migratory birds including Siberian Cranes. The best way to explore the park or view the bird life inside the park is taking a boat ride in the lake situated in the middle of the park. One can also enjoy cycle rickshaw ride inside the park to view the bird life attractions. Overnight stay at Hotel / Resort.

Day 05: Bharatpur – Jaipur (185 kms. / 3 Hrs) 

Early morning, after breakfast visit Lalgarh Fort, massive structure built in early 18th Century and was designed by Maharaja Suraj Mal, the founder of Bharatpur. The Fort has three Palaces within its precincts. The Palace: this royal edifice is a fusion of the Mughal and Rajput architectural styles with magnificent apartments.  After  noon drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival check in to Hotel. Evening enjoy at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel / Resort.

Day 06: Jaipur

After  early breakfast move for Sightseeing / Visit –Jaipur has a number of Palaces and Forts. City Palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, within the complex there is Mubarak Mahal (Palace of Welcome) & Art Gallery. Visit Amber Palace & Fort was built by Raja Man Singh I in 1592 A.D. The fort was made in red sand stone and white marble, it has four section within the premises is Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), Dewan-I-Aam (The Hall of Public Audience), Jai Mandir (The Hall of Victory) and The Zenana (The Palace of Women). Visit Jiagarh Fort also known as Victory Fort was built between 15th to 18th centuries, Jal Mahal, Kanak Vrindavan is popular spot for picnic and film shoots. Evening enjoy Sound & Light show at Amber Fort. Overnight stay at Hotel / Resort.

Day 07: Jaipur – Delhi [200 kms/ 3 Hrs]

After breakfast drive to Delhi transfer to the Airport / Railway station back home.
