Himalayan Wonder (Kalimpong, Gangtok & Darjeeling)

Day – 01: (Bagdogra (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) – Kalimpong)

After arrival at IXB/NJP meets our representative and transfer to Kalimpong (85kms/03hrs), another quiet hill station in Eastern Himalaya. Kalimpong is famous for its Orchids & Nurseries and some of the rarest cacti & Orchids can be seen. Oak, Maple and Chestnut stretch up the ridge as far as the eye can reach. Check in hotel rest & overnight at Hotel.

 Day – 02 (Kalimpong Sightseeing & to Gangtok)

Morning after breakfast followed half day sightseeing in & around Kalimpong covering Durpin Dhara, Zong Dong Palri Fo-Brong Monastery and flower & Orchid Nurseries Dr. Grahams Home, Delo View point and Kalimpong Market and drive to Gangtok [70 kms/ 3hrs] at an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the Capital of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Evening free for individual activity and leisure, overnight at hotel.

 Day – 03 (Gangtok Local Sightseeing)

After breakfast visit Banjhakri Water Park, Ranka Monastery, Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology Num Num View Point, Institute of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Bartuk Water falls, Tashi view Point (sunset effect on Mt. Kancnendzongha range), Flower Exhibition along with Ridge Park. Overnight at Hotel.

 Day – 04 (Excursion Trip to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir)

After breakfast half-day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok City, the oval shaped lake is almost about 1Km long, and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people, after that visit 18 kms from the Lake Baba Mandir, (temple of disappeared army personal) and back to Gangtok. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel.

 Day – 05 (Gangtok to Darjeeling)

Morning after breakfast drive to Darjeeling (120kms/4hrs), once the summer capital of India, Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature charming Himalayan people.  Surrounded by Tea gardens; this little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. Take a rest and then a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in.

 Day – 06 (Darjeeling Best points Sightseeing)

Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. After breakfast followed by Half day best point local sightseeing covering Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center and Rock side. After that visit to the Mall (Chowrasta) along with local Market for City Life. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 (Darjeeling – Bagdogra (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) 

Morning Transfer to IXB/NJP ( 80 kms / 3hrs). Tour End.
